True story- when I was in high school, my mom saw a classified advertisement in the USA Today looking for somebody to play the role of Max Fischer in Rushmore. We decided to put together an application, despite my lack of theatrical experience, because it sounded fun. I think we ended up getting in an argument about whether I needed a haircut before I sent in a headshot with my application. We never sent in the application. I got a haircut.
