Gov. Brian Schweitzer

I love Gov. Brian Schweitzer.

A few years ago in my old office in DC, I was riding the elevator. A man dressed in head-to-toe denim, sporting a bolo tie stepped on and introduced himself as “Brian” and gave me a hearty handshake. I had no idea who he was and thought to myself “who the hell wears a bolo tie in DC and introduces themselves to a stranger.”

Later, I was editing video for my job at the think tank and realized he was the keynote speaker on the video. I was amazed. He was incredible.

The dude knows his energy policy. He’s brilliant. He might just be our president one day.
